Our index includes recorded deed, mortgage and lien records affecting landowners and land within the boundaries of Benton County. Online information is currently limited to index data. Document images are available by request or in-person.
Helpful Information & Tips
Search the online from 1978 to present day.
- The % symbol is used as a wildcard.
- Less is more, enter the minimum and use the wildcard % to maximize your search results.
- Searching from 1978 to 1987 and 2003 to present enter the last name in last name field followed by % and the first name in the first name field. Enter business names in the last name field.
- To search for 1988 to 2002 records, enter the business or person name(s) in the last name field only with a % after the last and first name for people. (Example for John Smith enter “Smith% John% in the last name field only!”
1848 – 1966
- Documents recorded during this time frame were given a book/page reference number.
- An index of Deeds is available for research in-person at our office.
- Please contact us to schedule your research appointment.
1966-2002
- Documents recorded during this time frame have a M (Microfilm” designation. You will note a M-xxxxxx-XX where the two-digit number at the end is the recording year.
- Index info for these records is available online and in-person.
2003-Present
- All records from 2003 forward are a four-digit year followed by a six-digit document number.
- Index info is available online through our Real Property Records Index or in-person.
