What is notary and what service do they provide?
A notary is an official licensed by the state to help prevent fraud by confirming identities and witnessing important signatures. Their main job is to watch people sign documents and make sure each person is who they claim to be by checking a valid ID. A notary also adds an official stamp or seal to show the document was signed correctly.

For your notary appointment you will need to bring
- Document to be notarized in its entirety.
- Party that needs to sign present with valid government issued photo ID (Driver’s License, Passport, Military ID).
- Payment
We cannot do the following
- Notarial certified copies of birth, death, or marriage records or official records from countries other than the United States of America.
- Please contact the State of Oregon for more information on vital record and Apostille certifications.
- Notarize documents in languages other than English
- Notarize Wills
- Provide witness(es) for Notarization
- Notarize I-9 documents for employers
